Before I started gaining weight I still wanted to lose 10 more pounds. So now I have to lose the weight I gained plus the 10. My goal is to lose 30 pounds which will put me at 130 pounds. Along with losing the weight though I want to tone my body. I love running, which is good for shedding pounds, but without some weight work it will all just be loose skin.
So here's my plan. I am going to run 3 days a week and do strength training 2 days, which puts me at working out 5 days a week. For the 6th day I think I'll work on my flexibility, so yoga.
As far as diet I am now cutting out gluten, dairy, sugar, and soda from my diet. I'll allow myself one cheat day a week, with restraint. I will also make sure that I am actually eating. 6 small meals a day with a lot of vegetables.
I am going to drink a gallon of water every day. That seems like a lot, but it really is do-able, and if I stay active it will be just enough.
What else? Sleep. I will be in bed before 12 every night. I might make an exception for the weekends. We will see.
Is 30 pounds by April too much? I'll see how this month goes.
I like your goals. 30 by April seems like a lot to me. Also, I've heard the six small meals thing is a 'myth'. I'm shooting for 3 good meals with healthy snacks in between.
